Ju-ene Method Facial Therapy (Buccal Massage)

This relaxing, rejuvenating facial offers a holistic approach to nurturing your face, mind and soul. This treatment begins with an upper back wellness massage allowing for your mind and body to become completely relaxed. We will focus on quieting our minds and being more present in our bodies. After a 20 minute upper back massage, the face is cleansed with ZO Skin Health products and warm towels. This is followed by Ju-ene Method Facial Massage techniques. This massage focuses on lymphatic drainage and is a natural alternative for facial sculpting and contouring. This treatment involves the inner oral (buccal) massage, facial cupping to stimulate blood circulation and gua-sha techniques for lymphatic drainage. After the facial therapy massage, a natural mild enzyme peel (NuPeel) will be applied for the ultimate experience. This treatment will leave you with glowing, soft skin.

Cost: $150 – 90 Minutes

Treatment Details

Ju-ene Method Facial Therapy focuses on lymphatic drainage and is a natural alternative for facial sculpting and contouring. This truly unique treatment involves massage techniques that target specific muscles to promote relaxation of facial muscles where we tend to hold tension and emotions.. This facial sculpting massage technique is followed by the inner oral massage

(Buccal Massage) and concluding with the facial cups, boosting blood flow, and a gua sha routine to drain the lymphatic system. One treatment alone yields visible, remarkable results.

Buccal massage is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a natural alternative to invasive anti-aging procedures. It provides a natural contour of the mouth, jaw and cheek bones, relaxes tension in the jaw and gives you a glow-from-within. Buccal massage has been shown to reduce symptoms of TMJ by releasing attachment points along the jaw. With this decrease in tension, muscle spasms and pain are removed and the jaw begins to relax and move more easily.

It’s common to feel deeply relaxed after a session, but your facial muscles might feel fatigued. Depending on your level of tension going into the treatment, your face or jaw may feel sore, achy, or tender. If so, apply a warm compress to soothe the muscles. It is important to stay well hydrated after a treatment to help flush any toxins released during the session. It is absolutely fine to carry on with your normal daily activities after a session, but we do recommend that you take it easy for the day. You may experience a little fatigue after the treatment which can be normal. In very rare cases, clients may experience cold-like symptoms such as headache or slight body aches for a few hours after the treatment. If this occurs, it is simply a sign of your body’s natural healing and detoxification process in action as things are getting flushed out of the system.
Typically, a recommended series includes 6 to 8 weekly treatments, which is then followed by a maintenance treatment once a month. Results can be seen after the first visit, but the difference is more noticeable after the third or fourth treatment as the results are cumulative.
